Are solar panels really the deal they seem to be?

The panels are 100% warrantied by the company. They are insured against hurricanes and all damage. If they break the company comes out and fixes them. If my house burns down, the company replaces them. If they company damages my roof, the company fixes it. If I need a new roof, I can work with the company for up to 35% off roofing costs.

I'd get a monthly rebate for any extra electricity I produce.

There is a 10k tax credit that I would get within 18 months.

In July, there is a 1K rebate special where they cut me a check the day they install.

I'd never lose power again.

Post installation, the company scheduled a city inspection. An electrical inspection and building inspection were both needed to verify the installation complied with building codes. The last step was for our electrical company to visit, test the system, install a new power meter, and begin our net metering service. That's great option especially if you are using this as well: https://a1solarstore.com

Thank you for the recommendations. I am planning to install solar panels next month.
